Washington State Education Licensing Requirements:

Washington issues the Residency Teacher Certification to most out-of-state applicants for a regular teaching certificate. The applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university, completed any state’s approved teacher preparation program, passed appropriate tests, and have a fingerprint/background check completed.
