Wisconsin State Education Licensing Requirements:

Applicants who have completed a state-approved educator preparation program at an accredited institution of higher education headquartered outside Wisconsin, have completed the testing requirements of that state, and are eligible for licensure in that state, should apply for the WI license that most closely matches their out-of- state license. The following link provides a checklist for out-of-state applicants: http://dpi.wi.gov/sites/default/files/imce/tepdl/pdf/OOS-T001-A001-P001-Checklist.pdf.

See http://dpi.wi.gov/tepdl/elo/oos/initial-teacher-tips.

You must submit electronic fingerprints through Fieldprint at http://www.fieldprintwisconsin.com/. Use reason code FPWIDPITeach.
